Cool Tools for School
Today I was attending a session through SARIC called Cool Tools for School. The session was very informative and gave excellent techniques to incorporate hands-on technology into the classroom. We set-up a wiki space account and navigated through wikis ways to help students become engaged. So many new and exciting ideas ran through my head and of course I plan to hook my students through our class' site. Hopefully I will be able to upload some of the activities we created soon. Tons of ideas for writing, reading, math, and more. I advise everyone to take part in these sessions. There are all kinds of sessions offered and they are at no cost to teachers !

Renee,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you got to attend that session on wiki accounts. I am in a technology class that is currently on a lesson concerning wikis. I had never been exposed to a wiki account until this summer. I am enjoying learning about this tool that can be used to engage students in learning.
